We’re thrilled to share a milestone update from La Villa Victor Hugo — our residence that opened its doors in early February. What a journey it has been!
From the first sketches and ideas to watching the walls go up and finally to welcoming our very first guests, this project has been a long and rewarding adventure. Turning the concept of La Villa Victor Hugo into a living, breathing place of hospitality has required vision, resilience, and above all — teamwork.
Over the past few months, we’ve been fine-tuning everything: learning the ins and outs of rate strategies, connecting with OTAs and PMS platforms, and refining the way we greet and care for each guest. Every challenge became a learning moment, and every satisfied guest reaffirmed our mission.
May has been our most successful month yet, with nearly 70% occupancy, exceeding our 60% goal — a proud moment for the whole team. Currently, the villa is booked at 47% for the entire season, and we’ve already welcomed 532 guests, many of whom left glowing feedback.
Our reviews speak for themselves: an average score of over 9.5/10 across 52+ reviews on Booking.com and Airbnb, and our brand-new Google page boasts a perfect 5-star rating from 10 guests. These kind words and ratings reflect the care and energy we pour into every stay.
We’re filled with gratitude for everyone who believed in this project and helped bring it to life — and especially to our wonderful guests who trusted us from day one. We’re only just getting started and look forward to building on this momentum throughout the season.
